About RESERVES 2000

Founded in 1994, Reserves 2000 is a broad-based non-partisan coalition of Canadians of every background and every walk of life who are committed to sustaining Canada’s 123 Army Reserve units in communities large and small from coast to coast to coast.

Our members and supporters include current and former soldiers, veterans, honorary appointments, elected and appointed leaders at all levels of government, as well as academics and everyday Canadians.

We believe that both the full-time and the part-time components of the Canadian Army must be strengthened and expanded in order to meet and sustain Canadian defence commitments at home and abroad.

An expanded Army Reserve is critical to meeting those obligations.
